After a lopsided Game 3 victory, Miami Heat pushes the Boston Celtics to the verge of elimination.

After a stunning 128-102 victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday, the Miami Heat are just one win away from reaching the NBA Finals.

Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals was the night Miami's supporting cast stole the show, with Jimmy Butler having thus far nearly single-handedly carried the Heat to this point.

Miami jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as Gabe Vincent scored a game-high 29 points on 11 of 14 shooting while Duncan Robinson and Caleb Martin contributed 22 and 18 points, respectively.

Butler, who has been the best player in the NBA Playoffs thus far, had a quieter night than normal, scoring 16 points, pulling down 8 rebounds, and dishing out 6 assists.

Eighth-seeded Miami is now just one win away from making it to the NBA Finals for the second time in four seasons, despite needing to win two Play-In games to get to these Playoffs.

The Heat's run has defied expectations, as they were given little chance of moving by bookmakers and NBA experts both, but they are now one game away from adding a series sweep of the No. 2 seed to their list of scalps.

"That was a solid, mature, professional approach," said Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra. "You know, there's a lot of pent-up energy here, and we're getting close, but we still need to finish this."

"But, without a doubt, the approach, and you can tell just from the morning session how much it means to everyone." But first, you must demonstrate it on wood.

"I enjoy how everything we went through previously and some of the emotions are pouring out. We'll decompress tomorrow, but we'll really focus on finishing this project."
