You will need to create an account in order to search for job opportunities on Naukri.com. You can delete an account if you already have a job at the company you desire.
Next, you need to deactivate your Naukri.com account. For several reasons, it is important to deactivate or delete your Naukri.com accounts. These are the reasons I will be described in detail.
Why is it important that you delete your Naukri account
There are many reasons why you might want to delete your account.
One is that your profile and resume will still be visible on the site, and companies seeking employees would likely view your profile.
They may get the wrong impression, which could be detrimental to you as an applicant and lead them to believe that you are still unemployed. They would not know that you are interested in a job, and have already found one.
Unwanted and spam calls or messages could also be a reason. Companies that like your profile will send you messages or call to schedule an interview.
Recruiters will not like that you keep your profile active at Naukri.com. An employer may shortlist you.

How to delete Naukri account
Log in at Naukri.com
- You will need your email ID and password to delete a Naukri.com account.
- After you log in successfully, the Naukri.com logo will appear at the top. Near the end of your page will be a My Naukri option. This option is available.
- Click on “My Naukri” to see 11 options. Choose the option that reads ‘Settings.
- Click on Settings to be taken directly to the page where you can manage and update your profile. Scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see a subhead saying “Not looking for a Job Change right now”. You will find a link to read more below. This option is available.
- After clicking on “Read More”, the page will expand. The page will then expand and you can choose to deactivate or permanently delete your account.
- You will need to click this option to tell us why you want your account deleted.
- After you have stated your reason, you’ll be asked for your password. This will allow you to permanently delete your account.
You can deactivate your account
If you do not wish to delete your Naukri.com Account, you can deactivate it.
You can deactivate your account temporarily if you find a job or you do not want to use it for any reason.
You will no longer receive emails after you have deactivated your account.
